Lesson 1. Stave, measures, rhythm, melody
Here is the stave made up of 5 lines and 4 spaces. It is also a work platform on which different symbols are placed, elements with whose help music is created.
Clef G or Tremble clef is a musical symbol used to indicate the notesc on the musical score. The Clef placed on the musical score assigns a special note to one ot fhe 5 lines of the musical score; thus, note G will be placed on the second line.
Time signature two-four (2/4) is a measurement , which consists of two beats and looks like an ordinary fraction in wich 2 represents the numbers of beatsand 4 shows the duration of beats.
Time signature three-fourth (3/4) is a measurement with 3 beats.(4/4) is a measurement with four beats. Most world music has been written in this time signature, ranging from pop music to symphonies, from marches to opetaa, from jazz to oratorios.
The rhythm exercise by means of which you will learn the value and duration pf the main musical notes. Also, you will get used to counting while playing the instrument.
The numbering of the fingers. You will learn the names of the notes, their place on the stave, the numbering of the fingers combined with rhythm aș there will be notes of four beats – wholes, notes of two beats – halves and notes of one beat – quarters.
Lesson 2. Time Signatures 2/4, 4/4
The exercises in this lesson are written in time measurements 2/4 and 4/4, and the notes equal to one and two beats. The notes inn these exercises are found within the range of the five fingers of your hand; that s why, you will have to memorise the name and the place of notes on the stave. The lessons from 2 to 10 will be designed only for the right hand so that you can understand the notes more easily. Sarting with lesson 11 you will learn about C Major scale and its harmonies.
